Attention: Change of the Corona Regulations

Due to increasing numbers of COVID-19 infections, we have to apply the 2G rule. Only people who can prove that they are either fully vaccinated or have recovered from a COVID-19 infection are allowed to participate. In addition we strongly encourage everybody to perform a SARS-CoV-2-PCR test (not older than 48 hours) on your own responsibility before the event.

Dear Vetmeduni researchers, PostDocs, PhD and doctoral students!
We are happy to invite you to our Science Day 2021. Vetmeduni´s festival for its researchers, to honor your achievements, and to provide you a platform to connect and to network.
We will award this year´s scientific prizes, do the "jumbled poster walk" again and listen to the VetIdeas challenge winner´s pitch.
Our special pleasure is to announce an exciting panel discussion with two dedicated guest speakers, who will take a look into the changes and challenges they expect we will be facing in the coming 20 years and discuss their potential implications for the veterinary sector. For sure some food for thought for the networking time afterwards, with live music by "Air of Jasmine", drinks powered by ÖH-Bar, and delicious buffet-style food!
See you there!

Corona regulations

In order to be allowed to attend the Science Day 2021 please follow both of these rules:

  1. You have to be registered for Science Day. Only registered people will be allowed to access the Science Day areal (banquet hall, foyer). If you have forgotten to register, you can do so at the registration desk in the foyer.
  2. The 2G rule applies: At this event there is no FFP2 mask obligation, and also no distance rules apply, as we will control compliance with the 2G rule. Analogous to the current Viennese regulations, all participants at events with 26 or more persons must be vaccinated or recovered.

As even vaccinated / recovered persons can become infected, we encourage everybody to perform a SARS-CoV-2-PCR test on your own responsibility before the event. The test should not be older than 48 hours. In case of a positive test or if you feel typical signs of illness for COVID-19, participation is not possible.
